Okay. Now the explanation of LATAM. Latam is a shortness of LATIHAN ALAM.
This was my first time joined LATAM.  My friends (Vina,Elitha,Rawi) have been joined LATAM before.And in my first time, I was really nervous. Because LATAM is not about having fun times, but also "horror".
 Hehehehee

LATAM is a moment where the members of THEATER SEMBILU will be "approved". Beside that, in LATAM, we can learn how to act, how to speak loudly and clearly, how to be confident on the stage, and how to respect each other, etc .

In LATAM, no t only the students of NINETY SHS-as the member of SEMBILU who join, but also the coach of THEATER SEMBILU, and alumni. The alumnis will teach us.  Meanwhile, the seniors from 12 grade, will not get the same handing.

All the seniors will not friendly during LATAM. They will look scary, angry, unfriendly, and everything you do are wrong.
In LATAM, there are 2 rules ;

1.  ALUMNI NEVER WRONG
2.  IF THE ALUMNI WRONG, BACK TO THE FIRST RULE

Yes,that is the rule which really makes you under a pressure.
But after all, you will find happiness and a new family. Here are the explanations of pictures which I got.

1.  a picture when the member of 10 & 11 grade  was lied by their seniors.  They were asked to sit on the ground, waited something which made them really scared.  Meanwhile, the seniors were having fun. The man who jumped was Ka Feb.

2.  Ka Lancip was really  ignorant. He got angry all the time with 12 grade. and it was really sucks.
     I was wicked by him, to make tempe. And he asked us to make a healthy drink. So we made a glass of carrots juice.  Feel that boys !

3.   We never have a good time in eat. The seniors always gave us different order when we had to eat.  And this is one of the ignorance which they did to us.


4.  The heads were poured by water.  But the water wasn't cold because the 12 grade had make hot water before. The water had flowers, leafs, and parfume !!

5.  Okay. The man who is blowing the smoke is KA LANCIP. He was the worst after Ka P-Men. He was totally sucks.

6. Everything finished. And we had SINGKONG as our breakfast. But it wasn't finish after all. Because after that, Ka Lancip created a shocking scenario with me :)

7.  At our first night,the rain dropped(every night actually).  Look at the afraid faces :D

8.  Congratulations !!!! They passed the test and sucssed as the member of THEATER SEMBILU !

10. We are the chef :) I'm the master chef. But I wasn't the best in LATAM -,-"  Ka Lancip could make a better food and more delicious than us.  We (Vina,Elitha,Rawi-red) cooked all the foods which was needed.  But at the last day, before we went home, Ka Lancip surprised us with his delicious SAYUR ASEM :)

KPU

On May 6-8, I had 3 great days with my friends in KPU.  It was a moment for us, who still in 12 grade.  A moment where God "said" to us about His vision.

On KPU, We had a theme which titled "MELANGKAH DALAM VISI-MU"

Along three days in Villa Bunga-bunga,Puncak, We  had exposition of Moses.
How did Moses released Israel from Egypt.  At first, Moses rejected God because He was too scared with his capability. He said in

Exodus 4:10-12 (New International Version)

 ¹⁰ Moses said to the LORD, “Pardon your servant, Lord. I have never been eloquent, neither in the past nor since you have spoken to your servant. I am slow of speech and tongue.”

Yes, Moses rejected God to do His vision. But God answered ;

¹¹ The LORD said to him, “Who gave human beings their mouths? Who makes them deaf or mute? Who gives them sight or makes them blind? Is it not I, the LORD? ¹² Now go; I will help you speak and will teach you what to say.” 

And as we knew, God did miracles to Moses, and finally, Moses did what God asked to him.


In some expositions, the conditions of Moses were not different at all with us.  It wasn't easy to do God's vision. But Moses TRUST AND OBEY.

How about us? I realized that my fears were bigger than my faith.  And it was a big mistake.
I forgot that God who led Israel, also leading me to do His vission.
That was a big blessing to had KPU. Among million of students in Indonesia, God gave me a chance to know about His vission.

God is funny

Don't judge my title because I'm going to tell you about it.
Do you still remember when Jesus said in ;

Matthew 19:24 (New International Version)

²⁴ Again I tell you, it is easier for a camel to go through the eye of a needle than for someone who is rich to enter the kingdom of God.”

In my wild thought,  Jesus was not a person who did seriously every time.  It must be boring when we have to do everything seriously. Especially,with the same person for 3,5 years.
I did some jokes when I had to do serious jobs.  Because it was help me to think clearly.

But we aren't going to talk about Matthew 19:24.  Because Jesus said that, to prove, that all the humans in the world are sinner.  As we fell into a deep well, we can't save our self without someone to help us.  We never can stop to do mistakes and sin.  That's why we need "someone" to save us from the deep sin hole.
And all the best of us can't save our self  from the sin. We are great sinners aren't we?


So that's impossible for us to save our self from sin. But, in 

Matthew 19:26 (New International Version)

 ²⁶ Jesus looked at them and said, “With man this is impossible, but with God all things are possible.”

Yes, God gave us THE ONLY WAY to be released from sin. HOW?
We don't have to "steal" God's heart with the good things we did, with the number of our prays, or how much money did you give to help someone. It means we can "buy" the heaven.

John 14:6 (New International Version)

 ⁶ Jesus answered, “I am the way and the truth and the life. No one comes to the Father except through me.

And that's it.  Enough for the explanation because actually, I don't want to make someone think that I'm going to joking with The Holy Bible.


Back to the explanation, why I said God Is funny.


I have some experiences which made me think that God is funny.
Emmmmmm
Some funny things which I still remember about Him are when He suddenly answered my heart's desire. I never ask God in my pray,just a little wish but He suddenly gave me.
First, 2 days ago, at evening I said to my mom ; I want to have a breakfast with bread.
And my mom didn't said anything. Of course She did.  Because She wouldn't buy a bread only for breakfast. It's better for our family to eat rice when we have breakfast. Bread is not makes you full.


But,at the night,My Dad came home and brought a basket of breads! Hahahahaha
I asked him ; Where did you get all of these breads?
He answered ; From Mr. Ayub (He is  a priest of our church)


Then, few weeks ago, I said to my Mom ; I don't have any blouse to go to work. 
My Mom said ; there are still lot of blouses in you wardrobe.  Use it again.


And then, 2 days later, my father brought a box of clothes !
I asked him ; How could you get these all?
He said ; From Mrs. Ruth, as a graduation prize for you.


I laughed as loud as I could with My Mom.  God, how funny are You.


Then, when I said to My Mom in a morning ; I want to eat ice cream. today is really hot.
And as usual, my mom didn't say anything.
So, at the same day on the evening, I went to Secretariat of PSKJS.  We had a meeting on that day.  And unexpected thing   happened.  We ate a box of ice cream.  I couldn't believe it.


Again.  When I couldn't cross to the secretariat of PSKJS, God knew that I needed someone to help me cross the road.  And suddenly, my friend came out from the secretariat and helped me.  Even I didn't ask God to help me.


Okay. Enough I guess. Because there are still the funny thing which God did in my life.  These are the newest one that still I remember. He did a lot of great works, until it's not easy to remember all of them.

TIPS for apprentice

I'm not the best and I'm not really good in my work.  But I got some experiences which really helped me here.
1. Make sure the background of your office, and what is your "position"

2. Remember how to get there(your office) and how to get home.  Not just remember the roads, but also the public transportation.

3. Go to earlier and make sure about "one way".  So you won't get lost.

4. Knowing the rules of your office, including the costumes for work.  Is casual, or formal, or stylish ?

5. Bring your own drink bottle, spoon, and food-for lunch.  Don't forget to having a breakfast !

6.The first person that you have to know is the security, and the maid.  Because they'll help you more than your office partner. Trust me.

7. Then, knowing your office partner, especially if you have a personal room with some people.

8. Always smiling and friendly to anyone who sees you.  Although they don't know you-and you don't know them.

9. Don't do nothing when all of your jobs has been finished.  Ask someone for your help, or do something which can makes you look "busy".  But don't hold your cellphone and doing "SMS"

10. Don't go home as the first. Wait until some other  employees go home, and ask for leave with your boss/manager.

11. Don't ever argue, including say "wait a minute"

12.It's ok if you want to talk about salary before you start to work but,remember, we'r still have apprentice.

13.Don't use to be someone who know everything.  If you don't know how to do your job, ask to someone friendly and don't forget to say ; "Sorry, are you busy? May I ask for a help?"  And of course ; "Thank you"

14.Just follow their conversation with listening but, don't start to talk. Because the response of people are different.  Someone will like it, but the other? You don't know.And if they'r laughing, It's oke to smile-or if you'r brave enough, you can laugh too.

15.Never give up when the job which you have to do is not working well. You have to find another solution for your problem.

SHS GRADUATION

It was a moment where you had to make your mom busy to prepare all the stuffs which you need.
Such as Kebaya, high heels, hair style, make up, purse, and the other stuffs which made your mom confused.
It wasn't easy if you never use high heels and kebaya at the same time before.
Because the skirt was so long and so tight.  It was the skirt.

 How about the Kebaya?

Kebaya is a blouse made from brocade.  We also can find some details as beads, sequin, and the other details which make Kebaya looks so glamour and beautiful.  Kebaya is a traditional blouse from Indonesia which has a lot of design.  Kebaya has been used since long time ago with the woman in Indonesia.  Hundred years ago, since the age of kingdom in Indonesia. These pictures show me in Pink Kebaya.

Along the changing of the age, the young woman in Indonesia know "modern Kebaya"
And in my graduation on May, 24 2011, me-included my friends, wore modern Kebaya on our graduation.

We had different make up style and different hair style which made us looked different on that day.

I came late so I didn't know how's the full ceremonial.
But at least, I didn't late for the most important time of graduation.

 The Giving of Medal

 My heart couldn't stop beating and my hands were so cold.  I held my friend's hand who stood behiend of me. I took a deep breath so many times and everything was so fast.  Suddenly, I was on the stage and waited my name would be called.  and when my teacher said my name loudly;

The hall was so crowded !  The boys from social science shouted when I walked to the middle of the stage.

My headmaster gave me the medal and put it on my neck.
Then, my beloved teacher Mrs. Berkah, gave me a tube which covered by red velvet.
I took it and held in my left hand.  After took it, I ran as fast as I could with my high heels, to my chair.

The chairs were named so you couldn't move and poor you who had the last alphabet-like me, because you had to sit behiend.

I opened my tube, and saw 2 papers.  one had white. and the other one was yellow.
I read the yellow, and it was promise of alumni.
It was ;

Yes,and when we read it together, it was the wisdom moment.
And we came into the craziness when the graduation finished.

XII IA 1

the story of JAKA BODO-SEMBILU

Once upon a time,there was a stupid and silly young boy.  He was JAKA BODO.
When he worked at his rice field, he found something weird.  It was red, slimy,little,and looked disgusting.
Jaka Bodo pulled it out and was surprised with that disgusting object.

The,the weird object spoke!!
He pleased to Jaka Bodo to release it.  But Jaka Bodo didn't do it.  He felt that he got stomachache,so Jaka Bodo asked it to help him get well.
The object gave a root to Jaka Bodo and he got well on that time!

The root had a magic so it could heal all disease.
Then Jaka Bodo realized that the disgusting object which he held was a devil.
The devil disappeared on that time, and Jaka Bodo brought the root.

But the King of Devil was so angry with the stupidity of his liege man.
So the King of Devil tried all the way to make Jaka Bodo lost.
He changed his self into different characters.
As a member of army, a merchant from China, and a smart professor.

But it didn't work after all and Jaka Bodo became a king because He had faith to  beat the king of devil.

Jaka Bodo

This was my second show with TEATER SEMBILU.
In 2010, we shew a Theater performance at GRJS Bulungan.  We had this performance once, different with "WOW" which had twice performances.
In 21nd TEATER SLTA Festival.

"Lebih baik 1 ikan paus dibandingkan 1000 ikan teri."

It was a sentence which was said by Ka Lancip.
It means, It's better less people but the result is better, than there's a lot of people but the result is worse. 
This is my "last performance" at Senior High School.
I didn't do the best in this performance.  Because I have to manage Rohkris too. So, I performed really bad.
I lost my voice one day before our performance .

"Minum sekali aja nanti malam sebelum tidur"

And I did it.  A tablet on that night to brought back my voice.
But what happened?
When I woke up in the morning, my voice didn't come out. And it just made me more stressful.
How about Ka Lancip as the director?
He was seen so relax. 

So,on the way to Bulungan, I drank a tablet of medicine which he gave to me.
On the afternoon, when we finally arrived, I drank one more and fell asleep.
And on the evening, I drank one more.

But my voice was still lost !!
Me-as the main actress of the show-lost my voice T___T

And the only thing which I did was praying.
And my mind was more stressful when I had to wear my costume. These are my costumes ;

PSKJS

A place where you can find happiness, sadness, optimism, faith, and so many feelings.

PSKJS-Persekutuan Siswa Kristen Jakarta Selatan is a place where he have a vission of "SISWA MEMPERTUHANKAN KRISTUS"
It's not easy to make it become real.  Not only sweat and hard work to make it real, but the most important of all is PRAYING.

We reallized that God who gave us this vission. So we have to surrender to Him.
In PSKJS, we have a "structural organizer"
But it doesn't mean that only the structural who can serve. The structure organizer will helps us to get easier in reach our vission.
They are TPS (Tim Pembimbing Siswa), PS(Pelayan Siswa) and PENSIS (Pendamping Siswa)

PSKJS have a secretariat. It is used as a place for meeting, fellowship, worship, bible study, and the other possible activities.

PSKJS is a interdenominational fellowship which consist of students in South Jakarta. So we are from different churches and different culture's background.  But it makes us complete each other and has a uniqueness. We also can find PSKJT( Persekutuan Siswa Kristen Jakarta Timur) PSJKP(Persekutuan Siswa Kristen Jakarta Pusat) PSKJ-DEPOK(Persekutuan Siswa Kristen Jakarta Depok)

Yes,we serve students because as God called Nehemiah to fix his nation,we knew that God called us to serve the next generation of this country.
As God used Moses in his weakness,we knew God lead us as God led Israel.

SEMBILU

It's not just a name for sharp weapon.  But it's the name for my group of theater.
Sembilu started on November 1992 in Ninety Senior High School.

I "trapped" here since 2009.
And that was really unpredictable and I never imagine it before.
I can't remember clearly when was the first time I joined with SEMBILU.

But I remember when I went back home after Rohkris, on the evening, I met my best friend Alvina.  They practiced  and I met them.  Then,  I knew, I started something that changed my life.
Since that evening, I liked to meet them and joined some simple practice with them.
When "Ka Lancip", the director of SEMBILU told us that we were going to have a theater show, I couldn't reject it.

He offered me a character which really difficult-even for an experienced actor.
Then, I did a surprising character which I never expect.
I shocked a lot people who never know that I could do it.

I used to be "HITAM"-the black side of humans heart.  I was cruel,evil, sexy(??)

All the bad sides of human was in me.

The title of the show is WOW.

 

We had the show twice.  First at 90 SHS, and the last one was at GRJS Bulungan.  We got the best Theater Group for category Exhibition.

It was my first show, my first role, and my first time fell in love with THEATER :)

KK to KTB

For some of you who don't know what is exactly KK or KTB, let me give a short explanation.
KK is the shortness of Kelompok Kecil .  Here, we have a little group who studying bible together, praying, sharing, and doing other activities.

And KTB is the shortness of Kelompok Tumbuh Bersama.
It's not different wit KK after all. But,in KTB, we have more serious in bible study.

But both of them are really great and fun.

I have a KK which turned into KTB.
We consist of 3 boys and 5 girls and a young woman as our leader.
Let's see them. 

These are the girls. From the left, she is Nana, and beside her, she is Titin. next, Ka Sabeth, the head of our little group. then, Lois,me :) and Jeje. We don't have any name for our group until now.  it has been 2 years and we never decide our group's name -,-"

Then,the boys..

First, I said that they are consist of 3 boys. it's a little bit difficult to find their photo completely.
so,from the left one is Jimmy, then Ka Sabeth again, then the last one is Dennis.
They have a name for their group.  It is "F4VOUR".  It is the shortness of Faith of Four.

We have KTB every week, and usually we use Thursday.  We also have a place to KTB, our favorite place, we call it MARMIN. The shortness of Martabak mini.  We got a lot of funny and I'll share it on the other page in this blog :)
